Soaring in the dynamic uphill slope in front of the traditional slopes is just as possible as hour-long thermal flights. Every year, the Wasserkuppe becomes the venue for various model flying competitions.
The glider museum on the Wasserkuppe shows exciting insights into the history of model flights on the Wasserkuppe.
For beginners, we offer model flight courses in which you can try out and learn model gliding in a relaxed manner.
Model pilots should register at the air sports center or directly with the start manager on the slope before starting flight operations. It is not necessary to register in advance by telephone.
During the winter break there is no model flight start point manager on site.
